Delpaxton

MANY THANKS to everyone that made it out last night! It was a pleasure performing for all of you and it was a pleasure for us to share the stage one last time with our good friend John. Not to mention, supporting MS. Anyway, John has been an intricate part of Delpaxton.  He is responsible for not just the killer drumbeats, but also those ultra-catchy vocal harmonies that stick to your brain.  We ask that you do yourselves favor, and start following John’s new project “Lost At Sea.”

Once again, thanks for the support last night we look forward to rockin your ear drums very soon with a new record and line-up.

Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 will be our final show with our drummer and good friend John Walker.  John is one of the founding members of this band and has played a significant role in making Delpaxton what it is today.  His presence will be missed as both a friend and a drummer.  We hope that you all will join us this Thursday at Transit Lounge to bid John a very happy farewell as well show support for the charity that we are playing for.  You see, this show is not only about John leaving the band, but it is also about bringing awareness and raising money for Multiple Sclerosis.  So please come out, ROCK OUT and support a good cause!  Trust us, this show is one that you DO NOT want to miss.  We guarantee total face meltage by the end of our set!

So this is another one from the Delpaxton Archives.  This photograph was taken by none other than our good buddy James Bernal, and was taken during the filming of the music video for Not Too Distant.  Not Too Distant was the first of our videos to air and subsequently became the first time we ever saw ourselves on TV.  The video debuted on FUSE TV in (I believe) May of last year (2009).  Anyway, we’ve posted this video on here before, but I figured it’d be a lot easier if you just clicked here.

This is Jo, a long time friend and current engineer/babysitter/band manager/ keeps us in check/psuedo record label/avid collector of Japanese toys and randomness/all around good guy.  We figured we’d post this for two reasons…ONE, the above photo was taken by our other good friend, photographer/explorer Shane Perez, who is also a childhood friend of Jo’s.  TWO, we wanted to showcase a quiet yet important part of Delpaxton.  Jo is the behind the scenes guy of our upcoming EP.  He’s been working vigorously and patiently with us as we go back and forth on nonsense ideas.  Anyway, Jo’s the man.
